You’re Alive. Are You Grateful?

Nate Wilson, aka ND Wilson, is one part philosopher and two parts performance poet. I met him while in Nashville recently, where we were both speaking at the Thomas Nelson sales conference about our upcoming books (mine Resurrection Year, his [amazon_link id=”0849920094″ target=”_blank” ]Death by Living[/amazon_link]). When a clip from Nate’s previous book and film project [amazon_link id=”B00558B4P2″ target=”_blank” ]Notes from the Tilt-A-Whirl[/amazon_link] was played as part of his presentation I was mesmerised.

Nate’s mission in life is to open our eyes to see what so many of us miss through familiarity – the absolutely stunning drama that is happening around us, of which you and I are a part. Notes from the Tilt-A-Whirl does this with thought-provoking commentary and beautiful photography.

Here is a clip from the film series. After describing life as art, Nate switches thoughts, proffers a little reflection on biology, and says ‘There are 8 million other people who could have been here instead of you. Are you going to be ungrateful?’
