Countdown Day 2

Resurrection Year: Turning Broken Dreams into New Beginnings is only 2 days away! Each day in the lead up I’ve been posting a photo drawn from Merryn’s and my life that relates to a chapter of the memoir.

Monday’s photo related to chapter 1

Tuesday’s photo related to chapter 2

On Wednesday I announced the Resurrection Year Webcast, so no photo. (Have you checked your local time and booked in?)

Thursday’s photo related to chapter 3

Friday’s photo related to chapter 4

Yesterday’s photo related to chapter 5

Today’s relates to chapter 6 and…

Tomorrow you get the full text of chapter 7 FREE!

But I’m getting ahead of myself. What does the above image have to do with broken dreams and new beginnings? (Where is it? What might the roses signify? Is there any connection to it and chapter 1?) The most creative or insightful guess wins an ebook (PDF) copy of Resurrection Year!

Tell Me Now!

What is the relevance of the photo above to Resurrection Year, broken dreams and new beginnings? Tell me now in the comments section

    Hi Sheridan.

Not sure if I’m at a disadvantage here. Perhaps others more involved in public support recently have had a glimpse of the book? If so, this may be passé, but here goes …

There is no sunshine in the photo, so this is clearly not an Australian location. 🙂 Presumably Oxford (thankfully I don’t believe Melbourne, Canberra or Hobart play a part in your story, otherwise I couldn’t be so sure). So, you’ve moved on from Sydney to make a fresh start.

I wish I could be more creative, but I’d have to say that the budding roses signify a new life, a fresh start, and perhaps confirmation from God of his plans and purposes for you, much as Aaron’s rod budded to affirm God’s plans for him.

    How’s that?
Looking forward to hearing your interview on Open House shortly.

Hi Matt I think anyone who has had a pre-glimpse of the book are the ones at a disadvantage as Sheridan will know straight away if they cheated, haha 🙂

The entrance perhaps to a new Home in England…It’s too dark, and Roses yes- but it’s a bush with thorns- not very welcoming to a saddened soul or two! Specially if you brush againsti t and feel it graze your skin..Merryn will not like it, she’s already bruised in her soul! And you’re trying everything to ease the pain…

You probably considered taking it..as it seem spacious. A place less mournful, brighter will help you both…so you move on.

I guess I ‘m way out of my league..he he!
